I'm Byrd Miller, chairman of the board of directors for United Way of the Piedmont. As we prepare for another great year, I want to pledge to you, our local community, that United Way of the Piedmont will work diligently to impact the communities of Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties. We've had tremendous success over the past few years with increases in workplace campaigns and individual giving, and our Community Investment Committee has worked tirelessly to make sure the funds are invested in keeping with the community's wishes.

 

In this new fiscal year, we're looking forward to working with local companies that hold workplace campaigns and searching for new ones that need to hear the United Way message, while at the same time making sure that everyone in the communities we serve has the opportunity to make a difference.
