fall FOOD DRIVES
IT'S ABOUT MORE THAN FOOD.
Over 1 in 10 people in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties lack adequate access to food. Too many of our neighbors don’t know where their next meal is coming from or must choose between skipping meals and paying their bills.
Food insecurity is a complicated, pervasive problem in our country and community--one that is intertwined with poverty, low wages, educational opportunity, access to healthcare, and more. And meeting a basic need like food is a way to immediately support a local family so they can make ends meet.
At United Way of the Piedmont, we are uniquely equipped to bring together resources, partnerships, and people to address challenges like food insecurity. We're making progress, but there's more work to do.
Join us for our annual Fall Food Drive so together we can help families thrive.
SUPPORT LOCAL FAMILIES
As part of our work to help families become financially stable, United Way of the Piedmont hosts food drives across Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties.
We don't want families to have to choose between putting food on the table and paying for rent. You can help make this a reality by joining us.
In lieu of our annual Fall Food Drive, we are continuing to collect Helene relief supplies.
